Blue Dogs 12 & 13 of My Project 82 Blue Dogs and a Cat

Last June, I found myself preparing to be filmed while painting Fred and Duke, the 12th and 13th dogs in my project titled 82 Blue Dogs and a Cat.

It was my first experience being filmed, and I felt a wave of nerves, especially since the dogs belonged to the filmmaker, Ben.

The reference photo we chose presented a unique challenge compared to my previous works, pushing me to elevate my skills. Filming and painting took place from July to December, and to my surprise, the experience turned out to be incredibly rewarding, offering valuable insights into my artistic practice.

Now, I’m thrilled to finally share the video, which I believe captures the essence of the project beautifully.

HUGE THANK YOU to @benhiggonsondirects for your fantastic work. It's awesome, I am grateful beyond words for your belief in the whole project and in me and my artistic practice.

Also, thanks @nathanskoorb for the accompanying music, dead chuffed ☺️

An upcoming interview video should also follow in the next month or so...🫣 EEK

"I often create contemporary abstract works rooted in emotional expression and personal reflection."

"What Can't Be Spoken, Echoes Within"

Art is more than a creative outlet for me — it’s a sanctuary, a form of therapy, and the most constant companion in my life.
In moments of sadness, anger, worry, or joy, I don’t turn away from emotion — I face it with a brush in hand. Through each layer of paint, I process what can’t be said, translating feeling into color and form.

My work is deeply personal. Every piece is a soliloquy — a quiet confession rendered in acrylics, where texture and tone speak louder than words. These are not just paintings. They are emotional timestamps — raw, honest reflections of my inner world.

If you connect with my art, it's because we’ve shared something universal: the experience of feeling deeply and seeking meaning through expression.
This is where art becomes connection — not just between me and the canvas, but between all of us who have felt what can’t be spoken.
